International audienceCalorimetric measurement methods allowed to investigate power losses for high frequency and high-efficiency power electronics components and systems, where electrical methods reach their limits. In the present work, a special calorimetric method based on radiation heat transfer between the device under test and the measuring cell is used for power loss measurements of electrical resistance, a flyback converter, a self-inductance, and a film capacitor for illustration. The aim is to highlight our device's experimental performance, for which the accuracy is close to 2% for a measurable power loss higher than 100 mW
