Die Verhandlungen zwischen den USA und Japan und die europäische Marktintegration ermöglichen ausländischen Konkurrenten einen Einstieg in den einheimischen Rentenmarkt. In Deutschland und Japan hat das Rentensystem einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur langanhaltenden Stabilität der Wirtschaftskoordinierung geleistet.
