A comparison between two kind of studies on RF antennas for Helicon Plasma Sources have been made: the variable interested is the antenna current density spectrum of the antenna for which small differences have been detected in a range near k_z=0. Two new configurations have been proposed to adapt the spectral function and the solution with a difference in the excitation phase showed radial power profiles into the plasma cylinder which outmatch those related to the antennas analysed so fa
