In this study, I examine evidence for feasting at Jatanca, an ancient ceremonial center on the Peruvian North Coast occupied by peoples associated with Gallinazo material culture as early as 300 B.C.. I conducted a surface collection of ceramic sherds to compare activities between Jatanca's ceremonial compounds and non-elite residential areas to determine whether the site contains evidence of feasting in plazas within the compounds.
