Percolation theory is the study of the behaviour of connected clusters in a randomgraph. Due not only to its contribution in the last ve decades to numerousother elds, most notably materials science, but also to its standing as an interestingtopic in theoretical probability in its own right, it continues to be a thriving areaof mathematics. In this thesis, we discuss one model under the percolation framework,where each point connects to a random number of neighbours, and ask theusual questions of existence and uniqueness of innite clusters.
