PENGARUH PERBANKAN SYARIAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI INDONESIA

This research aims to examine and analyze influence of Islamic banking on economic growth in Indonesia, but also to determine the effect of other independent variables such as: government spending and imports on economic growth in Indonesia. Total financing is used as a representation and part of Islamic banking, while the gross domestic product (GDP) is a representation of the share of economic growth. The research subjects used in this study are Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data in the form of quarterly time series data as its database for the period 2004Q1 - 2019Q4. The data in this study were obtained from the quarterly reports of Islamic banking statistics from the financial services authority. The analysis in this study uses the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method with multiple linear regression analysis, where this method is used to determine the effect of Islamic banking and other control variables on economic growth. The results of this study are the total financing variable has a significant positive effect on economic growth, the government expenditure variable has a significant positive effect on economic growth, and the import variable has a significant negative effect on economic growth
