Observational studies of instrumental teaching present limited data on the efficiency of various teaching methods (Karlsson & Juslin, 2008; Kennell, 2002). Although technology has been demonstrated to improve emotional communication (Karlsson, 2008), musicians may have a negative attitude toward using it for learning expressive skills (Lindström, Juslin, Bresin, & Williamon, 2003).
