A central aspect of discourse processing involves the interpretation of referential expressions. Pronouns are one type of referential expression that carry relatively little information regarding the identity of the entities to which they refer. Therefore, their resolution relies on other sources of information. The set of experiments presented here investigated the involvement of lexical biases and prosodic information in pronoun interpretation.
