Individuals with High Functioning Autism (HFA) have difficulties in face to face social interaction and communication. Development of internet-based communication and social media services over the last two decades has raised the possibility for the individuals with HFA to build their own contact and support networks. However, the initial design and development of the internet-based social media did not always consider the needs of the individuals with disabilities.
