[The] effect of rheumatoid arthritis on the patient

This is one section of a pilot study conducted jointly by a team consisting of a physician, two psychiatrists, a psychologist and four social workers. The purpose of the study is to gain further information regarding the part played by multiple stresses in bringing about rheumatoid arthritis. Four social workers took part in the study. Each one interveiwed twenty patients with the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis according to a plan structured in co-operation with the psychiatrist
