This paper investigates the performance of energy detection-based spectrum sensing over Fisher-Snedecor F fading channels. To this end, an analytical expression for the corre- sponding average detection probability is firstly derived and then this is extended to account for collaborative spectrum sensing. The complementary receiver operating characteristics (ROC) are analyzed for different conditions of the average signal-to- noise ratio (SNR), time-bandwidth product, multipath fading, shadowing and number of collaborating users.
