The use of requirement modeling approaches in model-driven development (MDD) is a relevant topic that has received special attention during the last years. However, there still are several issues that must be taken into account to obtain a sound interoperability of requirement models in MDD processes. Among these, the generation of appropriate input artifacts for model compilation processes from the requirement artifacts defined is a key aspect to be faced.
