The modern workforce is complex and diverse, providing different perspectives and bringing together multiple strengths which can create synergies. As national and organisational cultures provide a lens through which workplace interactions and behaviour scan be perceived, interpreted, and experienced, it is important to have perspectives which appreciate and value differences. Seeing the lack of diversity tolerance has been identified as a factor in workplace bullying scenarios, gaining a deeper understanding of the triggers for these behaviours is useful in terms of both research and practice.
