The Town of Books at Hay-on-Wye. The article tells the history of the Town of Books at Hay-on-Wye, Wales, begun in 1962 by Richard Booth. After four decades of bookish evolution Hay-on-Way's 38 antiquarian bookshops attract thousands and thousands of tourists and book-lovers from all over the world who visit the town and browse through over a million books in stacks.
