This paper discusses educational technology, knowledge, and education based on the concept of mass-individualization. It shows how two partially contradictory trends - massification and individualisation - are combined to create specific ways to orchestrate training, knowledge and subjectivities. The paper shows how this mass-individualized way of organizing education and learning is often associated with an enactment of knowledge as an object rather than as a relational effect generated in practice. One consequence of performing the knowledge object is that it is enacted as possible to transfer, acquire, represent, chop, re-use, possess, and sell.
