Atrioventricular nodal re-entrant tachycardia (AVNRT) is a re-entrant tachycardia centered around the compact atrioventricular (AV) node and the adjacent perinodal atrial myocardium. AVNRT is important as it accounts for more then 60% of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardias encountered in clinical practice. Currently, catheter-guided radiofrequency ablation is the standard care for this arrhythmia. 302 patients who underwent radiofrequency catheter ablation (RCA) of slow AV nodal pathway for AVNRT paroxysms in Electrophysiological Laboratory at the Faculty Hospital Hradec Kralove, CZ, were prospectively studied.Available from STL Prague, CZ / NTK - National Technical LibrarySIGLECZCzech Republi
