Erosion could be of a natural or anthropogenic form. The natural form of erosion caused by water, wind, glaciers and ground is a primary factor of landscape historical evolution. The second form of erosion - anthropogenic -is a result of interaction between human and nature and it is influenced by human behaviour. In many cases, a man's actions cause negative effects to the landscape. It could be found mostly in agricultural landscapes. The theoretical and practical problems of water erosion have been solved by the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU Prague.
