The aim of the thesis is to report a semi-Lagrangian semi-implicit regional forecast model in hydrostatic approximation, i.e. the prediction of thermodynamic field with minimal number of basic physical parameterization. A more effective and PC-computable numerical forecast model is our purpose. The semi-Lagrangian technique associated with a semi-implicit scheme (SLSI) was already used by Robert, Bates and Robert. The difference of this model with respect to other previous models is that we apply the latest technical knowledge into a baroclinic model. Therfore, the classic Phillips vertical sigma-system, the three-level scheme with two dimensional interpolation, spatial averaging, the vertical normal modes technique, the separable boundary ...
