This thesis describes non-contact two- and three-dimensional measurement for engineering components. The results of these measurements are given from digital images of the measured parts. The bases of this measurement are image-processing methods, which are described in the first part of this work. The next part of the thesis reviews basic principles and problems of the 2D measurement. A part of this work is also focused on analysis of errors of this measurement and their minimization. The two-dimensional measurement is presented by the practical application of the developed software.
