Within the five years investigation of the bed separation before the potatoes planting was proved that in comparison with common technology for soil preparation the yield has increased from 39,1 t.ha-1 to 49,6 t.ha-1 the bed damage of tubers has decreased from 7,57% to 5,47%. The instruction of the technology would bring increase of the market amount of potatoes by 11,1 t.ha-1 compensated by costs increase under operational conditions in range 2400 - 14 100 Kc.ha-1. Within the operational verification of the inter-row distance 900 mm in cooperative farms Trhovy Stepanov in 1993-1999 was reached average yield 30,11 t.ha-1, when the shate-wide average yield is only 20,08 t.ha-1 (750) mm.
