The probability of incorrect result being issued by a complex system (computer system) is analyzed and means for decreasing this probability are considered. As a main means for decreasing the probability of incorrect result being issued by a system, the control of computing process and availability check are used. Major attention is given to the system availability check (readiness check) based on system modular checks. The system time resources which can be allocated for availability check during system functioning as well as the effectiveness of such check are researched and estimated.
