The work deals with mathematical and numerical modelling of flow and pollution dispersion in atmospheric boundary layer. Starting from general formulation of conservation laws governing the flow dynamics of general fluid, a series of approximations is developed. The dimensional analysis of the basic governing systems is presented as a basic tool for development of simplified models. The range of applicability of these simple models is discussed. Selected models are studied in more detail and suitable numerical methods are proposed for their solution.
