Determining the energy demand of selected grain growing technologies, which are grown on arable land. Three technological procedures of winter-wheat growing were monitored in the agricultural enterprise. Based on measurements and calculation, not only the energy demand of the respective working operations employed in the monitored technological procedure as well as the overall energy demand of growing technologies were determined, but economic assessment of individual machines and working units used in winter-wheat growing was determined too. Also, the overall variable cost of individual variants were assessed, which were compared with values of winter-wheat model technological procedures. The economic assessment, which we obtained in respective machines and working units, will enable a qualified decision-making on the use of a machine and working unit.
