The first part of the study was focused on bunt species Tilleta laevis and T. tritici. The next part of the study was focused on leaf rust Puccinia recondite, f. sp. tritici. Several species of the genus Thalictrum were inoculated. Presence of a gene Lr10 was proved in selected wheat cultivars by a molecular marker. These cultivars were tested for response to 7 different isolates of the leaf rust together with near isogenic lines for particular genes of resistance. According to the infection tests the effectiveness of Lr10 is probably enhanced in the presence of Lr13 in comparison with the lines carrying Lr13 and Lr10 separately. Presence of Lr10 in 16 wheat cultivars was confirmed by the molecular marker.Available from STL, Prague, CZ / NT...
