The thesis evaluates the nutrition of winter rape with nitrogen and sulphur, above all due to the fact that the import of S into the agroecosystem has recently significantly decreased. The author analyses utilisation of nitrogen with regard to application of S-fertilisers and its final effect on yields and quality of rape seeds. There were evaluated effects of supplied nitrogen and sulphur on chemical composition of plants, number of branches and pods, N/S ratio, yields, oil percentage and concentration of total glucosinolates in seeds. Experimental plants of winter rape were cultivated for three years in pots in the growing hall of the Department of Agrochemistry, Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno.
