The goal of these studies was to characterise transport systems of the yeast plasma membrane. The characterization involved estimation of kinetic parameters and substrate specificity, isolation and sequencing of corresponding genes, explanation of regulatory mechanisms for biogenesis and degradation of different transport systems according to their function in yeast cells. These were studied in Schizosaccharomyces pombe, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida albicans and Zygosaccharomyces rouxii.Text also in English.Available from STL Prague, CZ / NTK - National Technical LibrarySIGLECZCzech Republi
