Microbial dynamics and composition of bacterioplankton were studied along longitudinal axes of the eutrophic orlik and meso-euthropic Rimov reservoirs during seasons 1999 and 2000. Two manipulation experiments were conducted to specifically study the importance of the nutrients and predation pressure on the bacterioplankton composition in the Rimov reservoir. The bacterial community composition was monitored by fluorescence in situ hybridization method in relationship to the major forces shaping the dynamics and structure of bacterioplankton.Available from STL, Prague, CZ / NTK - National Technical LibrarySIGLECZCzech Republi
