Dynamicke vlastnosti polymernich systemu.

This thesis presents a review of the author's works in the field of dynamics of polymer systems. It is based on 81 original publications in referred international journals. The main method used for its investigation was dynamic light scattering. Several other experimental techniques have been used to a lesser extent, especially static birefringence, pulsed field gradient NMR and neutron scattering. Dynamics of polymer systems is reviewed in the order of increasing complexity of the system. Homopolymer solutions and particle dispersions are the simplest case, where the size of the polymer or particle is essentially determined. Problems of multiple scattering of light are analyzed and the results are applied to evaluate the effect of critical opalescence on light scattering measurements. For similitude solutions and gel systems several dynamic processes are found which have been identified as cooperative diffusion, relaxation of entanglements, viscoelastic relaxation and cluster diffusion. In very concentrated polymer solutions and melts segmental relaxation enters into the time window of dynamic light scattering and the results obtained could be compared with results from dielectric measurements.The thesis includes a set of articles in English.Available from STL Prague, CZ / NTK - National Technical LibrarySIGLECZCzech Republi
