The aim of presented work was investigation of the electronic structure of uranium intermetallic compounds using the optical and low-temperature magnetooptical spectroscopy. We studied single crystals of the uranium ternary compounds URhAl, UNiGa and UNiSi as well as the polycrystalline binary compound UFe. The ternary uranium compounds show large magnetocrystalline anisotropy with easy magnetic direction along the c-axis.
