Integracao de servicos para edificios inteligentes

The efficient management of buildings resources is very important. In this context, the notion of Intelligent Building is tackled and the main concepts associated with it are presented and analysed. In particular, a reference model is introduced which emphasises the automation and management aspects of a building. A functional approach is also presented and a comprehensive and innovative set of services proposed and described. To provide an efficient management of resources it is essential that the various systems (particularly the automation and management ones) can communicate and cooperate with each other. In order to provide an effective and flexible support to systems interaction, a generic integration environment named INTEGRE is proposed. The INTEGRE environment, which avoids the main limitations and disadvantages of currently available solutions, offers an innovative approach to the integration and interoperability issues.
