Morfologia do movimento dancado: generos coreograficos e comportamento motor na danca teatral ocidental

The main objective of this study was to verify the relationship between choreographic Occidental Theatrical Dance Kinds and the formal aspects of individual motor behaviour that is observed in choreographic works performed by dancers and, according to the literature, representative of different choreographic types. It was utilised the Observation System of Motor Behaviour in Dance (SOCMD) that is organised in three levels of analysis: fraser de movement, actions motors and components of actions motors. The sample is composed by 464 fraser de movement, with 6026 actions motors, referent to 34 authors from which were selected 12 as representative of the following kinds: romanticism, classicism, modernism, neoclassicism, expressionism and pos modernism. It was possible to conclude from the collected data that there is a strong relation between the concept of choreographic kinds and specific formal aspects of motor behaviour performed by the dancers observed in this study, namely in the established associations between the gestos and postures categories in the modernists and expressionists, passes in the classical, and salts in the romantics. From the reported 12 authors, the results of the systematic observation (clusters analysis) reveal affinity between the following choreographers: A. Bournonville, J. Perot, M. Petipa, G. Balanchine, K. Jooss and M. Cunningham. Another group is formed by L. Ivanov and K. Macmillan. Choreographers such as V. Nijinski, M. Graham, M. Wigman and T.
