The study deals with depleted zones of stages in OTsK, GTsK and GPU metals (copper, alpha -iron, zirconium). The work is aimed at investigation into mechanisms of generation and growth of vacancy clusters in stage regions of damage. Mechanisms of formation of different vacancy clusters in depleted zones of stages OTsK, GTsK and GPU of metals are first proposed.
