The expression and method determining the quantity of the magnetic fluid (MF) entrained by a moving substrate from its limited volume and also the new approach and method in determination of the wetting MF properties have been proposed. A possibility to use the surface acoustic waves in investigation of the phenomena on the MF - solid boundary has been substantiated.
