The two species of Drosophila, D. virilis and D. melanogaster have been investigated. The purpose of the work: the revealation of the role of the system of degradation of the juvenile hormone in the imago stress-reaction and the role of the stress-reaction in the adaptation of the populations to the unfavourable conditions. Characterized in details has been the juvenile hormone degradation system of the D. melanogaster. For the first time, the reaction of the juvenile hormone degradation system of the this species on stressing effect has been studied.
