Conditions are determined for a qualitative separation of rolled stock in the rolls of the a screw rolling mill. A rational scheme is developed for application of the bending load. Methods are developed and analytical dependences are obtained for calculating geometrical parameters of the deformation centre and power characteristics of the bending-crushing process. A new high-efficiency technology is developed for separating rolled round bars into cut lengths. The basic technical characteristics are determined for the production line equipment.
