The purpose of the work: studying the peculiarities of tundra soils; revealing the role of the seasonal freezing as the main factor for the humus-formation in tundra; developing the ecologically justified methods of the agricultural use of the tundra grounds and methods of accelerated restoration of zonal types of biogeocenoses on the technogenous territories. Used have been the lysimetric method, modelling by the original method of the Author, and the methods of the stationary field investigations.
