MICE-TYPE GNAWING MAMMALS AND ITS ROLE ON THE FOREST-FORMING PROCESS IN KAMCHATKA

For the first time, under the conditions of Kamchatka, the questions of the biology and ecology of the mice-type gnawing mammals - the northern redbacked and the large-toothed redback voles have been investigated. The anthropogenous influence on the number and location of each species has been evaluated. The influence of the voles on the natural and artificial restoration of the coniferous races has been investigated, the system of measures on the ecological methods of protection of the young plantings has been developed.
