The work covers the alimentary tract of mice, rats and dogs. The aim is to study the structural-functional organization of the supraepitaxial mucosal layer in alimentary tract. It has been shown that the specific, age, organ and functional special features in construction of the structural glycoproteins are determined by a specific composition of their oligosaccharides. Two types of the structural glycoproteins forming the different level mucous membrane protection have been described. The new methodical approach to study the structural-functional organization of mucosal layer has been developed.
