BAR GRAPHS OF THE SECOND ORDER OF BINARY IMAGES AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

Methods of the static description of binary images and their applications to the solution of practical problems are considered in the paper aiming at the development and investigation for the method of the description of binary images by bar graphs of the second order and their use for the solution of problems of the analysis and recognition of images. As a result new forms of bar graphs of the second order for binary images have been determined. Their properties have been investigated. Methods for the analysis and recognition of images on the base of the use of bar graphs of the second order have been substantiated theoretically. The method for the estimation of noise immunity of classification algorithms has been developed. Algorithms for the formation of bar graphs have been investigated. The methodical substantiation of the solution of some applied problems has been developed. The possibility of the solution of practical problems for the measurement of geometrical characterictics of images in robototechnical systems, segmentation of images of schemes, maps, plans, recognition of of manuscript signs has been shown. The application package for the formation of bar graphs of the second order, instruction and classification of images has been constructed. Algorithms and software for the processing, analysis and recognition of images have been developed.
