DEVELOPMENT AND RUNNING-IN OF COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN TECHNIQUES FOR PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT OF CRYSTALLIZATION DIE CASTING

There the process of Crystallization Die Casting (CDC) has been studied to analyse the castings, the constructions of CDC moulds ans their members, to classify them witn regard to the specificity of computer-aided design, to develop the computer-aided technique of CDC moulds, to develop the calculation procedure of temperature patterns of core-casting-die system, the new effective constructions of moulds and their members. The technique has been developed; on this basis the program set for computer-aided design of CDC moulds, which operates in the medium of AutoCAD system with IBM PC 386/486 personal computer, has been created. The technique, the algorithm and the program of computer-aided calculation of temperature patterns of core-casting-die system, which allow to determine the dimensions and the variables of casting process, which exclude the casting scrap, have been developed. The new mould constructions have been developed, have been checked and have been put into operation.
