The work covers the transformer with solid turn (TST) and also the electromagnetic field (EMF). The aim is to develop the mathematical models of EMF and frequency responses of TST, computer programs and also the infinite elements (IE) for description of the open boundary conditions. Two new finite-element methods for EMF modelling in the heterogeneous media have been developed. The original mathematical models of TST have been constructed. The new types of IE have been proposed. The theoretical and program developments give a possibility to design and optimize effectively the passive devices providing electromagnetic compatibility and also other electrotechnical devices.
