The work covers the enzymes of modification-restriction from the thermophilic microorganisms. The aim of the work is to search the producers of the site-specific endonucleases and methylases among natural isolats of the thermophilic bacteria and to study the extracted enzymes. The site-specific endonucleases have been discovered firstly in the cells of B. stearothermophilus M6 and B. species KT5. The collection of 67 strains of the thermophilic bacteria has been created. The strain-producer of the endonuclease with new specifics (B. species KT61) has been found. The endonucleases BstM61, BspKT51 and BspKT61 are the new reagents at study of the DNA structure and new tools for construction of the recombinant DNA. The obtained results can find...
