SHF-devices and their elements are investigated in the paper aiming at the development of decomposition electrodynamic methods for the calculation of SHF-devices. As a result the decomposition approach to the solution of non-linear diffraction problems for SHF-devices has been suggested and substantiated theoretically for the first time. The computer-aided modelling system for SHF devices with non-linear media has been developed and created on the base of the methodology suggested.
