For the first time, the species composition of the shell ticks of Mongolia has been established. The peculiarities of the zonal distribution of the ticks have been revealed. For the first time, the peculiarities of distribution of the ticks complexes in the soil profile have been studied, the seasonal dynamics of number and the vertically-band distribution has been shown. First, the Lists of the shell ticks species composition have been given. The materials of the work can serve as the base with the compiling of the shell ticks determinator and with preparing the cadastre of the soil fauna.
