The aim is to develop the general methods for optimization of the power line phase design splitted into several components taking different factors determining the value and cost of the losses into consideration. The complex approach to the evaluation of the losses in the power line wires and cost of the lines of the optimal design securing the optimal transmission capacity at given operation conditions has been performed.
