Disturbing actions produced by an asychronous traction motor (AM) on a shunting Diesel locomotive drive have been investigated. The purpose is the determination of the parameters of the above disturbing actions at various operating conditions of the Diesel locomotive, and working out of engineering solutions decreasing the variable component of the AM torque. A mathematical model of the asynchronous traction drive (ATD) of the Diesel locomotive has been developed to permit the investigation of the electromagnetic moment of the AM with the interior motor structure taken into account; regression models describing the disturbing actions of the AM on the drive have been constructed; means of diminishing the disturbances through the use of an ar...
