The research is concerned with alloy N-1 (Zr-1%Nb). The purpose of the paper is to expand an experimental base and to develop design models for forecasting of the deformation behaviour of the N-1 alloy a non-stationary thermal power loading in the range of high homologic temperatures with regard of oxidation. A method to determine a momentary plastic deformation at a rapid heating has been developed, models on non-isothermal creepage, grain growth, isothermal oxidation in the water vapour, strengthening and brittlement of oxidized specimens have been created.
