The construction of effective iteration methods for the solution of elliptic problems is the aim of the paper. As a result the economical multicomponent difference schemes and iteration processes, permitting the parallelization of calculations, for elliptic eqations in regions with a curvilinear boundary have been constructed. The problem of the selection of optimum iteration methods has been solved. The numerical calculations of various test problems on the algorithms constructed have been held.
