There the purposes are to develop and to realize the members of heat circuit of roasting machine with controlled atmosphere by study of heat-mass transfer processes on heat treatment of ore-coal pellets. Ones with uniform distribution of coal in volume were used. The construction of special thermophysical plant has been protected by Inventor's Certificate. The calculation method of rates of oxidation and reduction of iron oxides in the ore-coal pellets at the heat-transfer medium to be changed in composition and temperature has been developed.
