There the study object is the process of plasma spraying in atmosphere of powder materials. The purpose is to rise the uniformity of strength of adhesion of coat with base in spraying by the plasmatrons of power up to 20 - 30 kW. The physicomathematical modelling, the experimental study with use of experimental design method and statistical analysis have been executed. The opportunity to rise the uniformity of adhesion strength of coat with base at the expense of application of extension with the angle of divergence of tapered duct, which exceeds the angle of jet divergence has been showed.
